When I began learning French in 2013, nobody liked me. I was not a francophone, I was and still not a genius in language learning, I was just an 18 year old boy who was just entering school and wanted to get a high CGPA in order to cross over as a bonafide student.
I also did not really know what I was doing. The first test I took was a complete failure. I did not know anything at all in the language. I was a zero level novice.

I couldn't even construct a simple sentence in French. And as a result, I was laughed at by my colleagues.
Instead of slaving away, just staying in class without assimilating anything, I went to meet my then language teacher and explained to her that I didn't understand anything from what she was teaching.

As expected she was furious, but she calmed down when she saw my willingness to learn and later linked me up to a vibrant French student to assist me because she had no spare time to take me on this daunting task.
When I started with my new private tutor, I started grasping the language bit by bit and within about 3 months of intensive training my grades improved up until I was the very best in class with A grades of 75, 81, 86 and even 90 over 100.

Fast forward, I have taken tests and international exams like TEF Canada, DELF-DALF, IELTS with B1, B2 and C1 levels respectively.
